Susie holds a national certification with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) as Family Nurse Practitioner. She received her Masters degree at Georgetown University and Undergraduate at Frostburg State University, also a member of the Sigma Theta Tau honor society of nursing.

She has a background in serving those with intellectual and developmental disabilities as well as psychiatric nursing. She advocates for those who do not have insurance and takes special care to educate women on the
importance of their health. She wants to educate all her patients across the lifespan on how to live a full healthy productive life to the best of their ability.

She lives with her husband Brad, one cat Apache, and a cockatiel named Sunny. On the weekends she enjoys trout fishing, bow hunting, kayaking, and all things woods and nature.
